No issues with Nvidia for me on arch. The drivers are fine and there's even a cool Linux version of shadowplay if you use that.
Plenty of video games that will not run on Linux simply because of stuff like anticheat. Like Apex Legends (ran fine for a while but got blocked again recently) and Valorant, just to name 2 I'm personally aware of that's stopping some of my friends from going to Linux.
You can say that dual booting would fix that, and my bf actually does that, but that's obviously not a workable solution to the vast majority of people.
As long as games like that won't run on Linux it's simply impossible for a lot of people to switch.

yup, zie ook het verschil tussen "meet" en "meer"
Every province is essentially indistinguishable from the rest, however I'm gonna guess Zuid-Holland near Den Haag.
Yeah it's a pretty painful task to learn a new layout. I've done it 3 times, going from QWERTY -> Dvorak -> BEAKL15 -> Graphite, it's been a pretty awful experience each time. Especially the latest one, as I actually have a job now where I type a lot. There was a period of about a month where I slowly forgot my old layout and needed to build speed with my new one pretty quickly.
But, if you ever are looking to switch, I can definitely recommend Graphite as keyboard layout for developers. I personally swapped X and J to make it more dutch-friendly, but other than that it's been excellent for comfort.
Dvorak is kinda trash as an alternative layout anyway, there are way better modern layouts that are excellent for comfort
Sony or Asus phones will serve you well
You can still absolutely have deterministic inputs without tying the inputs to the frame rendering. Just have a separate thread for the game logic that runs at regular intervals.
Just look at Minecraft. 20 game ticks per second during which all the game logic runs. But the game absolutely ain't limited to 20fps.
what the fuck?
For real, the amount of freedom I get here without a driver's license in the Netherlands is insane. I walk to the train station and can get anywhere in the country and even to a lot of other places in Europe.
Then I can just decide on a whim to walk to the grocery store, take a bike ride to visit my parents, go to a movie theater, whatever you can think of.
If there's one thing I have pride in with my country, it's the infrastructure we have. I find it very hard to imagine moving out of this country because of it.
I've (Netherlands) ordered from Zalando many times and have never seen Amazon shipping. Always DHL or PostNL.
