We know it's faster, but allegedly Switch 1 games run through a compatibility layer so there was some worry it wouldn't boost performance on old titles. The video confirms it does.

TL;DW: Switch 1 games that struggled with framerate now run much better on Switch 2 via backwards compatibility. Batman Arkham Knight ran at an abysmal ~20FPS on the original Switch, but now runs at a stable 30.

I will never forget the patch that nerfed lightning spears. One day I woke up, opened Reddit, and read "reduced lightning spear amount from 11 to 3". I did a triple take but it was real, they suddenly destroyed my build mid-playthrough.

Viable as in you can win with it I guess? Late-game you do worse damage than just using a regular sword and it's way harder to get a hit in. That's why magic runs usually boil down to 'just use a melee weapon with magic scaling'

I'm with you... I told my friends to hold off for a few months so they can fix the issues. I'm baffled they still haven't gotten to changing difficulty scaling considering it's just changing a variable, something modders did on day 1. Hopefully the next patch isnt so far away.

Be sure to claim it before the offer ends.

Good amount of bug fixes, but still doesn't fix the difficulty slider. They also claim the update after this one will focus on performance fixes.

He said the N word once when he got mad in a video game, and another time made an edgy joke. In both cases he apologized shortly after, and while I don't even like Pewdiepie it's a stretch to call him a nazi/nazi apologist...

Magic in every single souls game drops off in the late-game. Especially in Elden Ring, magic doesn't deal enough damage to justify standing still, casting, and managing your FP bar when every boss is charging straight at you.

The only one of these games where you can magic 'til the end without suffering is Dark Souls 2. Therefore, DS2 is the best souls game. I rest my case.

Makes sense., something as huge and expensive as Signal can't run entirely on donations.

Is it out yet? Last I checked it was a demo only.

I love Berserk but uh Schierke having a weird crush on Guts definitely treads on the sexualizing-young-characters trope

Definitely. People need to understand this tech isn't for the average person, but there are still a lot of people that would definitely benefit from it. If you told someone scientists are researching drilling machines to your bone you'd get similar WTF responses, but that's how modern limb replacement works.

What's damning is how the most harmless subreddits is now full of astroturfing. Television subreddit? Suddenly the top article is praising some show you never heard of. Meme subreddit? Here's a meme about some music video or hot new product. Game subreddit? Here's some random cosplay girl that's only here to advertise her social media.

I don't remember who said it but there's a general rule that if your subreddit has over 500k subscribers, it's already full of bots and dying. Any mainstream sub is insanely astroturfed.

And don't get me fucking started on social media twitter accounts. HAHA GUYS CHECK OUT THIS FUNNY MEME SHARED BY #WENDY'S!!
