Can you play with your friends?

Yes

Do you remember where you read that? Sounds interesting

Our freedom fighters vs their terrorists

Most countries do not require you to serve a month every year like the IOF does.

They're still reservists in those others countries though, right? Fundamentally it seems like the same thing to me. And your quote says "at most"; I doubt every military aged person is serving a month every year

Reservist is the status you get when you go to your annual (or whatever) checkups and are listed as can be called for active duty. You're basically active duty but you're not needed at the moment.

Isn't this what happens when you complete your compulsory military training? You can then be called for service at any time. I still don't see the difference

It's fair to consider reservists as civilians imo. There's plenty of countries with mandatory conscription and it would be absurd to consider anyone that has completed it as military instead of civilian

Streamers are 2010s, not 90s

This only refers to the Leviticus verse, not the NT one that I provided. Also, going by the latin text seems like a methodological mistake to me, since the original old testament was in Hebrew and the first translation in Greek.

Dunno about that. In the new testament, at least, it is said that (male) homosexuals will not inherit god's kingdom.

Do you have any source that says that specific part was altered?

Which part are you referring to? There's text banning it in both testaments.

Why is the EU price ~100€ more expensive than the US/UK one?

Where there demonstrations every day for 455 days in HK? If not then the arrests/day statistic is disingenuous

I'd like something that goes over the American interference in the region, debunks myths about the Shah's government (for example, I've seen people here mention that only the wealthy dressed like westerners) and explains how the Iranian revolution happened.

Is Targeting Iran any good? I know Chomsky has some shit takes but he usually does a good job dismantling US narrative & propaganda

If someone doesn't know what I'm referring to, 996 refers to working 9am-9pm 6 days a week, which some Chinese companies enforce (or enforced) on their employee. Jack Ma, for example, has spoken in support of it.

Wikipedia says that the Supreme People's Court deemed it illegal in 2021. I don't know about China's court system in detail (or any country's, really) but my understanding is that cases go to a higher court if someone successfully appeals the decision of a lower court. Shouldn't something like a 72 hour workweek be stricken down before reaching the supreme court?

I've heard that Huawei still enforces this, for example. I don't have sources because I've heard it from someone with Chinese acquaintances, so some fact-checking is appreciated.
