We have been trying to celebrate the solar holidays more but the spring ones haven't felt right. It's still so cold and we got 7 inches of snow forecasted this week. We might celebrate more when it feels like spring. Likely at Beltane.

Changing from a 5 hour rule to avoid giving it to inebriated person is so much cleaner and easier to do. How do track 5 hours really?

I bought my wife a wooden yarn winder from Etsy. She got into crochet this winter and needed to ball yarn. It's beautiful wood so it looks nice and now I don't have to hold anything while she winds. It takes a quarter of the time and is high quality. Since it's so manual it should last forever as well.

While this seems dumb I think all edited photos should be labeled as such. It really gives a warped sense of reality when only edited and warped pictures and videos are shown in the media
Gamegate was 10 years ago. It was terrible then and really ruined the Internet. Assholes learned of they were big enough assholes they could get what they wanted. Social media companies learned that assholes get more attention and get them more money. Traditional media learned that reporting on the social media assholes got them more attention. Now it's all assholes all the time everywhere.
