Haha be thankful for what you have. I work at a pretty large financial institution and we still use Skype for Business. There is another messaging app we use but not everyone is granted access to it so I have to use both apps daily.

This is the man who said "you send your kid to school as a boy, and they change his sex and send him home a girl." He told his rally goers that schools do sex changes and they believed him.

As much as I love her, America will never elect a female president anytime soon. There are many men who believe the presidency is a man's job.

Surprise? He's threatened to throw out the constitution because "we don't need it." And he has SCOTUS and Congress to let him do what he wants. Plus he'll have an AG that will basically be his lawyer. Trump is going to do whatever he wants.

What's Bluesky going to do to combat Russian bots and misinformation, and essentially keep it from becoming Twitter/X?

A lot of that was forgotten a long time ago.

I saw on more than one occasion that guys didn't vote for Kamala because she didn't go on Joe Rogan's podcast.

I think to some extent, Kamala said exactly how she planned on making things better. Trump didn't say anything, and as usual had no plans. He still got elected. I saw an article last week about Trump saying not saying what his plans were helped him. What sense does that make, when a guy like Trump, who's never had a plan or a rational suggestion to anything ("let's nuke the hurricanes!"), can not say a damn thing about what his policies would be and still get elected? That tells me the Dems were drastically out of touch.

Wow, this is such bullshit.

I was just watching an interview last night. Maybe it was 60 Minutes, but they were talking to a woman about this. They told basically all this same info - inflation going down, gas going down, jobs increased, wages increased. The woman said, "I didn't see any of that. My wage didn't go up." No idea what she does, if her job is eligible for a wage increase, but basically she was saying none of that impacted her personally or positively, so she voted for Trump.

Republicans cry foul with every election. The Dems should call for a recount too.

Republicans will control Congress. I'm sure they'll be fine rolling anything back.

Lawyers representing state legislative leaders were in court Thursday in Raleigh, arguing to throw out an anti-gerrymandering lawsuit that targets the state's new political districts.

The lawsuit argues that the state constitution guarantees the right to fair elections, and it says the new districts violate that promise. The Republican-led legislature argues that no such right exists, since it's impossible to define what "fair" means.

Anyone else have this issue? I did a quick search so I apologize if it's a known issue, but I can set my post sort to Top Day in my user settings, but it eventually defaults to Active.
