That's some broken clock shit.

Yep. They're mixing up orient, with orientation.
The real truth is that for the most part, steaks turn out great as long as you season them and don't over cook them. The cut of meat is going to do the heavy lifting.
If I have the time, I will do my method. But other methods produce fantastic steaks. And to be honest, I cook steaks so rarely, that I'm usually planning ahead for it. And I want them to be as good as possible, because it's a treat. If I were cooking them more often, of probably do a reverse sear, or a grill.
Folks get really up in arms about cooking meat for some reason when you can do it in countless ways and achieve fantastic results. I don't understand the dogma.
Dry brine, sear, then sous vide. If you absolutely have to have a crunchy crust, pat dry and sear again.
Dry brining is great and dries out the surface.
I was so excited for the game that I got ahold of a leaked alpha before the game released and played that. And then of course pre-ordered the game and played it immediately when it released.
I was really excited for Otherworld.
It gets to a point where it doesn't feel like you have control over your own computer.
For me, a big one was how it would constantly wake from sleep for no reason or to update. If put it to sleep and most times it would wake before I even s stood up from my desk. And there are settings you can change to stop that, but Windows will just randomly reset them.
And this is a really small one, but Windows 11 dropping features that Windows 10 has. It's very stupid that Windows 11 won't let you have a vertical task bar.
I've been a Windows user for 30+ years and always loved that OS until recently. But now I love Linux. An OS that truly lets me own my computer and do what I want.
The US has a left lean ("left" by US standards). What I mean by that is it's not an even split. The majority of Americans lean left. The only reasons the right has any power in this country is due to the first past the post voting system, gerrymandering, voter suppression, and the electoral college.
They might be older tech, but they're pretty rock solid.
