Yeah, I did not mean to disparage or downplay their decision to leave. Better late than never, it's just that the time for trying to "change the system from within" seemed well past to me.

Given St. Paul's reputation for left-wing activism, kinda surprised they were still on Twitter for this long.

Two good movies my wife and I saw in the last year and we were pretty much the only ones in the theater:

The Last Stop in Yuma County, a tense indie crime movie set almost entirely in an isolated gas station diner. Loads of, "Hey, that's that guy from that thing..." actors in it.

Outlaw Johnny Black, a comedic Western produced, directed, written by, and starring Michael Jai White as a revenge-obsessed outlaw who has to pose as the town's new preacher.

Many is the time I've gotten halfway through typing a response only to lose interest in my own opinion.

I just want the game to be good. There will be plenty of Rule 34 material on the companions available later.

It was a frozen yogurt company. The ice cream was a ruse to smoke out those not committed to the cause.

What, Netanyahu cynically making political moves for his own gain and damn the consequences, stop, that's crazy man, you're blowing my mind, dude.

Just got back from voting, no wait. It's about a 10 minute walk from my house to the polling place. They had 3 lanes open for people to check in, only 1 was occupied. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Longest I've ever had to wait was probably 45-60 minutes in 2016 but that was at a different polling place that was always poorly organized.

I try to avoid reviews/spoilers before seeing stuff, so I did not realize how much of a comedy it was. It doesn't come across in the trailer at all, but there are legitimately hilarious stretches of the film. And Mikey Madison deserves an Oscar for her role as the title character.

Inspired by something I said last night when complaining about an achievement at work and the only way I could think to describe it was "pure frippery."
