Biden BARELY beat him the first time around and conditions are WORSE this time around:
1: The electorate has a ridiculously short memory and aren't currently suffering from Trump being president.
2: Related to but distinct from 1, Biden's main strategy of "at least I'm not the other guy" is much less effective for an incumbent than a challenger.
3: Biden is currently alienating a large part of his own base by supporting two seperate genocides (Gaza and Yemen), one of which Democrats actually care about even when there's a Dem president.
Don't get me wrong, I REALLY want him to win since he's by far the lesser evil, but for the above reasons and others, there's a significant risk of him actually losing if the traitor isn't disqualified as he should be
You know what the difference is between a million and a billion? Roughly a billion.
As Denmark's queen abdicated and Frederik X became (hopefully our last) king, I was forwarding this in the family group chat with the comment "more important things are also happening in the world right now"
The name of that cat? "Wire"
That's what all mean people say.
If you think THIS is distasteful, you should see what priests do..
Biting the corrupt lord is the win condition
Just like real life!
Ok, let me preface this by OF COURSE Biden is by far the lesser evil compared to Trump, OF COURSE single issue voting is some Republican style bullshit and OF COURSE Trump would be even more supportive of a fascist government committing genocide, being a fascist war crime fanboy himself.
That being said, people who are outraged by Biden's continued support of and thus enabling of genocide DO have a point. He's supposed to represent the interests of every American who's not a fascist, not those of a fascist apartheid regime currently committing the worst genocide since the Balkan wars in the 90s.
Just because the other guy is a much greater evil doesn't mean that you can't hold your own guy accountable for supporting evil. With Trump the only alternative, voting for him is a given, but giving him a free pass shouldn't be.
Do beware of the caveat that up until quite recently, the Democrats had a substantial minority faction of anti-abortion politicians from the south.
"Before you criticise our dear leaders, take into account the anti-choice people who the leadership actively supported and promoted!"
Every time a conservative democrat runs against a progressive or even a further left liberal, DNC leadership supports the conservative.
The last anti-choice Dem representative, Henry Cuellar, was losing to pro-choice progressive Jessica Cisneros until Nancy Pelosi and Jim Clyburn endorsed him and personally showed up to speak at his rallies.
Sure, let's replace the bastards with worse bastards that are only there for profit and would make less profit if crime were to go down! That'll fix it! 🤦
I was in a band called Conceptual Disappointment. We had excellent stage design, but the music was mediocre at best.
