Get the Switch OLED. The Switch 2 offers nothing for your family. You think they are going to care that Breath of the Wild is “only” 1080p?

For the cost of the Switch 2, you can get the OLED plus a library of games. If you haven’t already seen the OLED screen in person, it will blow you away. It makes the S2 screen look like a $200 Walmart TV from 2008

Cloud saves? I just played the game a month ago (Steam version) and the game has no native cloud saves. Is this an Epic Store thing?

However, I do have the problem where the game randomly freezes. It seems to be a known issues for years that is still not fixed. :(

prove beyond any doubt

This is a civil case, not criminal. It isn't a matter of "did they do this". It's a matter of "how much are they responsible for this".

I went to my local shop’s website. The first game listed is Split Fiction for $70. The game doesn’t even have a cartridge. It’s literally a download code in the box. The PS5/Xbox versions are $65 and are on physical disc.

Who in their right mind is buying this? $70 for a Hogwart’s Legacy game key card? PS5 is $50 new. PS4 is $30.

Coincidence that this article is released the same day Rematch hits Game Pass?

I am willing to bet that people who chose the female main character enjoyed this game more.

I ain’t paying $120 CAD per game.

You are correct. If you want Tears of the Kingdom, it is $130 ($115 plus tax). I am stunned that this is the launch price of Switch 2 games. How high will they go in the future?

The Switch 2 makes even the new ROG Ally X seem like a good deal (assuming it is around $1000 CAD), since you can just play any of your Xbox Play Anywhere games that you have acquired on sale, or have access to via Game Pass. You don't even need a subscription to access online play, and it has free cloud saves.
