Hell, there were eight genders recognized by Jewish law long before Jesus was born. Male, Female, Androgynous (in this case, naturally possessing obvious traits of both genders, in modern parlance a hermaphrodite), "Tumtum" being largely bereft of either gender, Born male but naturally developing female, born male but developing female due to human intervention, born female but naturally developing male, and born female and developing male due to human intervention.
