Everybody should calm it with the jokes for 6 weeks, then unleash all the pent up puns and jokes. 6 weeks before the election should be close enough to not switch veep pick anymore, even for Don the Con

The state has no right or authority to demand any information regarding your income or finances

Yea, hard disagree there. You can go all sovcit or crypto anarchist if you want, choosing not to be part of society, but a government has absolutely the right to know where you get your money from. It's one of the foundations of a nation state to levy taxes in order to provide infrastructure, protection, regulations, etc... You seem to think a nation state is inherently evil. You are entitled to your opinion, but I think you are a useful idiot at best for criminal enterprises or outright part of one at worst.

I think there would be enough time if the Republicans brought in the cavalry, i e. experienced spinners of truth and benders, if not breakers, of rules like Karl Rove. But even for these people with absolutely no regard for political mores the maga movement is too extreme to stomach. Too many of the GOP brain trust have been alienated, which is a stroke of luck for the Dems.

I know that was floated for Francorchamps when the previous contract was ending as a compromise for paying less. Liberty acts like robbers in their negotiations: pay up or lose your spot.

Iirc the average amount to organize an F1 grand prix was around 40 million dollars. Any organization paying less is at risk, basically.

Edit: here it is broken down with a list of how much each venue pays (from 2 years ago, but it gives a good idea): https://formulapedia.com/cost-to-host-f1-race/

Your heresy is forgiven because you used the superior spelling of the metal in question.

That reminds me of a story of some business man who was playing at one of Trumps golf courses with his 12 year old son. Trump was right behind them and because he went with a golf cart he caught up with them. Now they had seen Trumps shot go in the bushes somewhere. You mark your golf balls so you know whose ball it is. Trump, undeterred, drove up with his golf cart, decided the best placed ball, the 12 yo kids, was his and continued playing with it to the absolute bafflement of the father and son.

Now this story is from way before he decided to go into politics, but already showed exactly what kind of person he is.

Our tomcat loves rice, enough so that we make a little bit extra every time just for him.

We have another cat that loves bread, preferably freshly baked. It has gotten to the point where we avoid buying bread she doesn't like.

The other 2 just want meat.

I think it means boring.

“Hungary, strong country. Run by a very powerful, tough leader. He’s a tough guy. The press doesn’t like him because he’s tough. Viktor Orbán, prime minister of Hungary, very tough man,” Trump said in his speech.

This almost gave me a brain aneurysm. It's like the orange doofus takes two words and scrambles it in a random sequence of sentences while being incapable of adding extra information.
