Volvo already has electric car factories in Europe(and in the US), ie in Belgium. It is only Polestars(and some early electric Volvos) which are made in China.

So far the chinese owners are pretty hands off. They have provided unprecedented capital and electric car platform technology to Volvo. In exchange they got access to all Volvo knowhow about car interior design and safety(and profit from car sales).

Andor and the Knights of the Old Republic(kotor) games are the best star wars content because ultimately, they are great content with good writing and characters. Everything else is pretty mid(with some cool music or visuals). Mandalorian season 1 was decent.

After the Iraq invasion, the US wanted to remove all people who were related to the Saddam regime from the government. These people were mostly sunni muslims.

That meant that the shia minority was given control of the Iraqi government. These people were friendly or connected to Iran(which is also shia).

Iraq didnt have and wasnt trying to get nukes, according to UN inspectors, etc. Maybe you are young(or an american), but here in Europe almost all media and people acknowledged that.

Iran is trying to get nukes, they are highly enriching large quantities of uranium, whose only purpose is the creation of nuclear bombs.

How close they are to getting a nuclear bomb is debatable.

Homer's Odyssey, literally the thing that defined epics and the oldest surviving literature, has a scene, where Odysseus finally manages to return to his home and see his dog.

I wont spoil it, because a movie is coming out. But then again, you had 3000 years to read it, if you still havent read it, do you even care?

I used to believe that too, because it was pointless. But it seems that i was wrong. The fact that it was pointless, means that the corporations felt comfortable with using and abusing that to maximize profit. The fact that they are afraid to do that, indicates how fucked things are now.

So i am ok with corporations using movements for marketing reasons, because ultimately this is the canary in the mine. If the corporations consider it a brand risk, then society is moving towards the wrong direction.

All EU countries are supposed to eventually adopt the euro, including Sweden. Only Denmark has negotiated the right to not adopt the euro(unless they want to). So while countries can delay the euro adoption(indefinitely?), they are obligated to adopt it.

Health authorities in Gaza said on Thursday Israeli fire on people waiting for aid near Gaza City had killed 104 Palestinians and wounded 280, with one hospital saying it had received 10 bodies and dozens of injured patients.

A spokesperson for Israel's military said there was no knowledge of shelling at that location. The military later said dozens of people were hurt as a result of pushing and trampling when aid trucks arrived in northern Gaza.

An Israeli source said troops opened fire at "several people" in the crowd who posed a threat to them.
