Very interesting, love me some orange peel in my rum from time to time, so could defo see myself trying it in coffee too.

Ah yes, it's called Bulletproof, if I'm not mistaken. At least the one I tried making I had to first make the coffee, then quickly put it in a mixer with a dash of butter. Surprisingly nice! πŸ™Œ

Might I suggest using syncthing instead? Never broke once for me and have been using it for years. Not had a conflicts either, as you can choose wether that happens or not in syncthing.

Thanks for this, although I did end up buying a WiFi extender to solve my issue. But will take notes of his for the future!

Well yes, but it's the sorta thing you would apply onto your skin when at home, leave it on for a couple of hours, then wash off again.

Our family have always stuck with using Honey, for area as with really bdad skin. Honey is so natural and sweet, for us this has worked wonders. Highly recommend giving it a try. If not pure honey, there are more and more skin care products with honey in it. Thank you wonderful bees 🍯

This is the way

Isn't this an old thing by now? Pretty sure tabs that are not used for X amount of time are put to "sleep".

Neber tried it with Android Auto before, but I doubt it would, it's a mesh vpn - not a typical vpn(proxy). So Tailscale is mostly for connecting your own devices together, however it's possible that configure it to use Mullvad for exit nodes, if needed.

Holy macaroni, that's gonna make for one happy and lucky son! Kudos!

Hi there, im conducting research on a wast amount of different VPN applications, and doing so I would like to gather some statistics on how many applications there are based om my criteria. Is there any good way of doing this nowadays? I found one app called App Finder, which has a bit more freedom that the Play Store, but doesn't quite hit the mark. I want to be able to for example see, how many apps there are based on a certain term like, "VPN".

Any pin pointers towards this are greatly appreciated :)

I often hear, "You should never cheap out on a good office chair, shoes, underpants, backpack etc.." but what are some items that you would feel OK to cheap out on?

This can by anything from items such as: expensive clothing brands to general groceries.

Hi, im a bit new to homelabbing, and recently bought a server - on a second hand market. The computer came with the following component, but im a bit unsure what it does exactly. It was sitting in one of the GPU slots on the Motherboard. I feel like it has something to do with adding HDDs. Could somebody please clarify this one for me? Much appreciated!

Some people change their socks every single day, to me that's a little to much. I'm more of a 2-3days kinda guy. Is changing socks each day absolutely necessary?

Edit: Obviously something is wrong with me, I'll take some time to rethink my life decisions and buy more socks! πŸ˜… Edit2: I mostly wear wool socks, I hope that justifies this a bit..

Hi folks, I'm a bit new to the addiction club, but recently acquired the Bialetti to my addition of coffee machines. I am uncertain to what level of grind should I buy for the Bialetti? Filter or Espresso? And if I grind myself, I have an electric one, how long do I grind it for?

Promised an update so here it is! 2 weeks ago I asked around for some authentic cat toys, and got loads of great suggestions for what to get the cat, appreciate all of them! ☺️ Our newly adopted Nori arrived just a few days ago and we couldn't be happier! She's full of life and it only took here a few minutes the get comfortable in her new home. Amongst the favourite toys are:

  • A Paper Bag, as seen in first picture. This was from last weeks Vietnamese Takeaway, wasn't even planing on keeping it but she gets the zooomies everyone she starts playing with or around that bag. So that's a keeper.
  • Wine corks! Got a few of those ones saved up for different use cases. Also tied on to the Cat tower we got here, which has seen a lot of use already.
  • Cardboard roll (remain of a toilet roll) is another great winner.
  • The casual small balls with bells inside of them.
  • The carpet. Our carpet is light enough for her to lift and she loves this. When she gets the zooomies she spins underneath the carpet one end and comes out the other end, love seeing this!

With all the playing comes a lot of sleeping too, and she will literally fall asleep in our arms when carrying her, which is very adorable. Although she prefer to sleep in the tippy top of the cat tower.

Thanks for all the tips and discussion in this community, learnt loads from others and can't wait to contribute with silly and cute cats pictures now too 😁

Here are a few more gems:

Recently heard about Thermal pads instead of paste, had never crossed my mind this could be a thing. Very curious to how good these actually are and if they perform any better? Also what does their lifetime look like? If anyone here has any experience with these please let me know 🌻

Huge money saver by making own certain scratch pads etc.. Just gotta attach this to a round and heavy piece of plank and voila! Reletvily easy to do and the rope is cheap as chips!

Is there any story or reason behind the name? Or is it just simply a random choice of word? Does it mean anything outside being a hat haha.

edit: i feel stupid for asking now, should have guessed it had to do with Redhat...

I use Tailscale as my VPN, and it's always just worked for me. But lately, it keeps hopping out. This is only an issue on my Android phone too. I have set Tailscale to be the 'always-on-vpn' in settings, but that doesn't change anything for me.

Anyone experience the same thing? Is there a know fix for this?

As title suggests, how do I go about stopping my phone from scanning my surroundings for extra devices?

Note: my phone was already connected to my own headphones.
