Best bet would be to find someone who is experienced with this kind of thing and discuss it rather than asking here. It's not a stupid question, I just think it will take a long time for you to find the answer you're looking for here and that you'll get a lot of opinions rather than actual help.

Oh yeah, this is basically a fact to me now, that man is not alive. I'll eat my words if we ever see him again, but I am not holding out any hope that he is alive, or that they even have the ability to find him if he was.

All I've gotten back from anyone I discuss this with is "They are criminals and illegal they don't belong here". Which is wild to me because this is exactly how every single genocide has ever started but nobody that I know irl seems to give a fuck about that.

I've tried so hard to explain that American citizens were next and was told I'm being dramatic and crazy, now he's actually saying it out loud and what are they saying "well yeah, but just the really bad criminals that don't deserve to be here not the average Joe"

They are making an active choice to ignore what's happening. They are fully aware of it, and are making the conscious decision not to care, which should piss people off a lot more than it seems to be.

Yup. They endured all the shitty things they were told to endure like church and regular beatings with a belt, and its very upsetting to them that other people think they have a right to their own idea of what a happy and healthy lifestyle looks like. If YOU can be happy without falling in line and doing what you're told to do by some dude that's interpreting a 3000 year old religious book, then what does that mean for how they have chosen to spend the last 50+ years of THEIR life?

Also a lot of them are simply just racist and either don't want to admit it to themselves, or don't want people outside of their close circle to know so that hate just boils up inside of them.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that they are intentionally and maliciously killing people, with the full knowledge that some are innocent of any and all crimes. It's the entire fucking point of us sending them there. We've been screaming it from the rooftops, this is a death camp.

They hate.

That's honestly enough. Republicans are filled with hate for anything that doesn't follow exactly how they expect people to live. They don't want freedom, they don't want expression, and they don't want anyone to be more happy or more successful than they are. That's why they hate so much and so hard, because other people's happiness and the freedom to achieve that happiness, pisses them off.

I feel like if we were serious about "doing something" then we would have before this point. Now the vast majority of people are just pretending nothing is happening and we'll have a free and fair election in 3.5 years and all the prices will magically go down for the first time in history, and all our rights will be restored.

While I agree, with the current administration, it would immediately be marked as a terrorist organization and members would be arrested. I believe we need something new that they can't immediately spin-off as a threat.

I work with the homeless all over the country and the most common theme is that they rarely have all the paperwork to get their ID.
