I quit when they took away the dislike counter, so many said they would but didn't. All I ever see about Youtube is people complaining about their new shitty tactics... just leave, it''s the ONLY way to get any changes. They will never change if people keep using the platform.

Suck it up, leave, you won't regret it.

My hands are cramping just by looking at this

It's working! Thank you so very much 👍

Wow, you are epic. Thank you so much! Will report back once tested 👍

Using Android, latest version of the app. I use a bluetooth keyboard to type on my phone when I'm at home. When ever I have Voyager open when it connects or disconnects from the bluetooth keyboard, Lemmy refreshes back to the default view and sorting order, even if i'm creating a post.

I have my defaults set to open on All with sorting order is Top from the last 12 hours. If i'm browsing Local and have changed it to Active and then scroll away, if I disconnect the keyboard, it immediately resets back to All and Top from the last 12 hours.

Even when I went to write this post, I had the subject field written, decided to try and disconnect the keyboard and it once again reset back to All and Top. Thankfully I didn't lose everything I had typed... this time.

Any ideas?! Physical keyboards on Android seems to be really quirky at times.

Just the tip?

I'm struggling to find any communities on Lemmy, maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

It's a really dumb and minor question but it's driving me nuts trying to find a decent solution.

I've got some of those metal outdoor lanterns that have a small round solar panel on the top and an LED. They work great in the summer but there just isn't enough charge in the winter for them to get fully charged... the problem is, EVERY single one I've found ONLY charges when it's turned ON.

There seems to be 1000s of replacements on Amazon but I've not found a single one that charges while off...

I'd really like some that I can keep off but will charge anyway so I can turn them on when I'm actually using them in Winter.

Dumb question but maybe someone can point me to a Lemmy community that can help!

(posted this on lemmy.world too but I can't figure out how to do a crosspost using Voyager)

On both the standard version and Firefox Focus (both from Play Store), when ever I try and select text to copy the page jumps around erratically. Sometimes it selects all the text on the screen, sometimes it jumps to the top of the page.

It's become impossible to select any sections of text. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

thanks

It's just such a common misconception that there was no ads in the 'old Internet', that's all I was pointing out. There seems to be a nostalgic false memory that Internet back then didn't have ads which is hilarious if you were there to see what it was like

What are you talking about, ads were far worse back in the 90s /2000. Were you even using the Internet back then? Couldn't block them and things like infinite pop ups were rampant, if you didn't have a firewall setup and anti virus, your entire Windows 98 setup could be wrecked in minutes just being online
