They did get some poster-style images for their "who's who" special, but other than that, not really. I really should set that up soon...

Yep, and that's why she and the current Blackstaff, Vajra... don't exactly mesh well on personal level. Although they're very professional about it and do work together for the good of Waterdeep, things are... a bit tense.

Hear ye, hear ye! Tales From the Tables is back with episode 52: Lady Mage of Waterdeep, part 2.

Apologies, not very meme-y this time, still submitting for the sake of completion and popular demand :)

Our intrepid adventurers befriend Laeral Silverhand, and get to know the fames Lady Mage of Waterdeep from a different, personal side. It's very much a Laeral special, lovingly consulted with the man, the legend, Ed Greenwood. It saddens me that so many D&D players only know Laeral superficially, if at all.

"Ruler of Waterdeep" "Oh, she's a powerful wizard and very old, isn't she?" And that's about the extend of most players' knowledge... She's a truly fascinating character who's walked Faerun for over 7 centuries, with beautiful, oft heart-wrenching stories to tell. I do hope my little hints at but a handful of events from her past will encourage a few people to at least read up about her on the Forgotten Realms Wiki, or better yet, reach for the many amazing books by Ed Greenwood or Steven E. Schend.

Our intrepid misadventurers seek audience with lady mage Laeral Silverhand, Open Lord of Waterdeep, to report on how their quest went. Meanwhile, Laeral is facing unspeakable horrors of her own...

As always, you can find the rest here should you wish to catch up :)

Apologies I wasn't able to deliver the full episode I intended for this month... Just this last Wednesday just a minute away from home I ended up in a car crash, t-boned by a distracted lady who pulled out of a neighborhood without ever looking right... I'm okay, no major injuries, but there's a lot on my plate right now. I feel defeated and dejected, but don't worry, I'll get back up, persevere and fight on. I'm just sorry about this slight hickup in delivering the story those of you invested in it have been waiting for ;_;

What's in the bag, Redwen? What's in the bag??

Holy moly, we're at fifty episodes! Fifty! And to think when it first started, it was supposed to be just a one-off joke made as a DnD meme...

And now we're 50 episodes in, with an exciting story planned out for many times that, that I'm ITCHING to share with you all! Funny how things work out.

As always, should it be your first time stumbling upon this story, you can always find the rest on here, or on dedicated comic platforms like Tapas and Webtoon for ease of navigation :)

And please consider supporting us on Patreon... it helps more than I can express, and each supporter is a step closer to us being able to do this full time, on a more frequent schedule! Getting in on our wonderful growing D&D community on Discord is another added benefit :)

Speak-With-Dead, cast on remnants of someone who's not? It is to be avoided.

Apologies for the short episode this month! I'd love to be able to treat you to an amazing 4-page chapter each month but I'd be killing myself if I keep that up at this time ๐Ÿ˜ญ I dream of the day I'll be able to draw full time and give you the amazing long chapters you deserve, tell you this amazing story that lies ahead faster and hopefully we'll get there soon. We're halfway to the $2K goal on Patreon, which is the threshold where Tales From the Tables would be self-sustainable. We just need to endure a bit longer! ^^

Hear ye, hear ye!

Tales From the Tables is back with episode 48: Homecoming, part 2.

Our intrepid adventurers enjoy some much needed downtime at the Hawthorne house in Waterdeep. Although our weary paladin can finally rest in the cozy warmth of her own home... she has trouble getting sleep, reminiscing simpler times bygone...

Whew... this one took a LOT of work, with a masochistic amount of city and interior perspectives. As for that view of Waterdeep... Yes, I'm THAT obsessive about getting it right, haha.

As always, should you wish to catch up on any episodes you might have missed, you can find it all on Tapas and Webtoon as well as other platforms should you wish to see delicious UHD art :)

Tales From the Tables is back with episode 46: A Thrice Blessed Return.

With Angela back among the living thanks to another party's cleric Torxina, and the priceless diamond crafted by Rozanna's missing mother, our intrepid adventurers get to have an emotional heart-to-heart.

If you've missed an episode, you can always find the rest at Tapas or Webtoon... or just take your pick here :)

Hear ye, hear ye! Tales From the Tables is back with episode 45: You Must Live On!

Angela learns an important spell from Aribeth before finally making it back among the living.

Whew... sorry I'm late, I was aiming for yesterday... But between being sick, and a huge 1600km (each way) trip to hang out with the ForeverDM and our D&D clique for Thanksgiving, I've only managed to wrap it a day late.

Hope y'all are enjoying the story so far! There's SO MUCH more ahead.

As for what it is that Aribeth taught Angie, it's a flavored, Angie specific version of this ForeverDM spell. :)

Should you wish to find the rest, it's all here :)
