Maybe fake, but definitely gay

I'd say mail boxes, at least in the area where I live. Around 10 years ago, our neighborhood was mandated to have our own separate boxes for mail/newspaper next to our house, but before then you'd have one group box for the whole neighborhood, with separate sections for each house. It's much more efficient for delivering that way since you just go to one box rather than door to door, though it can be a bit annoying having to walk to the box every day to get your daily newspaper.

Don't get me wrong, I think that the left/right divide and talking shit about the right are both necessary. There are some right-wingers who aren't idiots in the world, but most of the right-wing parties nowadays are just spreading hate and endangering certain groups of people while having policies that benefit the top crop.

My comment is about how while MAGA is a hate ideology and should be fought against, the anger shouldn't be turned into personal attacks against regular people and should be directed towards ideology itself and people who benefit from it. It's much harder to deprogram someone when the side that tries to deprogram them are actively shunning them on a personal level and calling them inherently terrible people, while it's likely that the person joined MAGA because of their environment, similar to how religious communities and being born into them work.

Streamers really do be instantly reversing years of their character development just by getting banned from an internet platform for a few weeks

Can't say I haven't seen the conflict used as propaganda to encourage not voting - that does exist and it's counterproductive assuming there's no massive direct action campaigns going on at the same time (which would probably have to be something massive, something akin to a left's version of January 6th).

That being said, how is criticizing Kamala about her stance on Israel a bad faith criticism? I genuinely do not understand - there's a literal genocide going on there being committed by Israel, with Palestinians being deliberately starved, bombed and Gaza being mostly rubble by now. Aggression is being shown to their neighbors now as well with the conflict being escalated by Israel, and US directly supports both of these horrible events.

What's happening right now in Gaza is akin to the holocaust, at least according to some historians specializing in the field, and just handwaving it as some non-issue that will be forgotten just to protect your preferred political candidate from any kind of criticism is just sad.

If US stopped sending billions in weapons for Israel to kill whoever their current target is, that would be a huge blow to the whole 'conflict' (as in, a colonial genocide). Neither of the candidates are willing to do anything of the sort though - Kamala has pledged to continue supporting Israel while Trump has pledged to give all the support Israel needs to 'finish the job quickly'.

And while yes, there's nuance to be found like with literally everything in the world, it's not a reason to dismiss any criticisms thrown at your preferred candidate.

It's a place created as a home for jews pretty much by antisemites, with the main idea being "we're okay with jews but only if they're not in our country".

There's a lot of fascinating history about the creation of Israel by antisemites that you can find, but the gist is that zionism and antisemitism often go hand in hand, and it seems this has not really changed.

So, a couple weeks ago Biden was "feeling comfortable" with a ceasefire, but now it seems that he's comfortable with escalating it by sending american troops. Very cool!

Also notice how people online who go out of their way to "own the libs" and who also say they don't care about politics (or are neutral) never go after conservatives, even though they're often much funnier to 'own'.

We live in times where making up bullshit is consequence free, even if you get called out on it. People seem to value if you can speak well more than if you're speaking the truth.

But hey, it's free speech in the marketplace of ideas, so maybe it's actually a good thing.
