Just curious how you see this going? What happens when I got stein?

Nazis aren't interested in what communists have to say. A communist, for the record, is anyone a Nazi disagrees with. The only acceptable place for a communist, according to a nazi, is in the ground. If you want to let Nazis come for you, I guess that's fine for you. When Nazis co.e for your loved ones and you Stans there like a fucking coward and let them take them because "much precious nonviolence" I guess that's your call.

Libertarian ideology at work. "Fuck you, I have money" or "I dont want poor gay or black people dying in the streets cause they are black or gay. I want them dying in the streets cause they're poor."

That'd work, but Sagan opted for portable fax.

Or, and hear me out, you could say "portable fax" and be done with it. YOU are making it complicated by not being culturally acclimated to the timeframe when it was written. Everyone knew what faxes were, no explanation was necessary.

Portable fax: thing that sends and receives messages

Portable Fax IS how you describe SMS in the 80s.

I dont mean that your understanding is unimportant, but that you inherently understand what's being described to a degree that to hear it described differently than you expect you reject what you hear in favor of assuming the folks in the 80s needed more than "portable fax" to understand what you are on about.

How would you describe SMS to people in the 80s?

You say all that and manage to miss that R doesnt just not have progressive goals, it has regressive goals. This is you right now: "hey everyone, Democats are as bad (or.maybe worse cause we dont know everything they are lying about) as the republicans. You shouldn't participate in national politics." Literally everyone knows Harris and waltz are liars. You're not bringing anything helpful to the table here, and it just makes you sound.. Well... Stupid. Sometimes the "w" is just "fine let's at least try to get abortion rights in the constitution" ormaybe "yay the people that PUBLISHED their plan to destroy the constitution and prop up project 2025 didn't get voted in!"

Can you share context? Chompsky is pretty focused on US politics, and genocide elsewhere may be a "not my bad, man. I talk about US politics, and am not gonna spend time on a situations where the US isn't involved" which would be a reasonable reason to avoid the topic, or were they "f those guys, the power behind it is anti american."

The only info I can find is that he cagey about callkn something "genocide" in case its not the actual definition. Check his takes on the Uyghurs, he seems to want to be able to fully establish what's occurring before labelling it genocide.

Tell me you didn't read the post without telling me you didn't read the post.

Requirement 3) My job really doesn't require much more than Office and a browser, but it requires very heavy use of those things. Firefox is fine for the browser, so no trouble there, but I need full fledged Outlook, OneNote and most of the features of Excel at a minimum. [...] I will not be able to live with only the browser versions, that I'm 100% sure of.

Exchange is Microsoft's SMTP server. Its the thing outlook runs on top of. If OP works in the corporate world, there is no "replacement" cause its not his.
