Yes if they've lasted decades thats their job done. Now people are buying usb C headphones and there is no need to continue to support decades old standards. The ewaste from a pair of headphones is tiny so its not worth fretting over.

Also BT headphones last longer than 2 years. Mine are 1st gen samsung buds and going on 5 years at this point and still hold enough charge to listen to music during my work day. If im going to be using them all day I have 1 in and 1 charging in the case and then I can easily have music for 10+ hours on a 5 year old device. If I threw them away today I would consider them to have not been ewaste.

I use wireless charging every single day and majority of my non techie friends do as well. Its so convenient to have a wireless charger on the desk and put your phone there. They are dirt cheap as well.

No one has been using aux cable mobile headphones for the past 10 years. Headphone jack is e-waste at this point. bluetooth audio is great and if you really want to be a boomer you can use the usb C headphones.

I've been wanting to be able to put bookmarks on the same line as the URL for so long. Glad firefox is actually getting around to making new features again.

I am trying to use powershell to setup a process that off boards users and doing the AD side of things is great but I am not sure how to use powershell to interact with our other software that only has a gui.

For example user management in studio3T where they only have a web UI or an application that you can download and run locally.

Isnt it wild that the nothing ever happens chud has gone from /pol/ to mainstream. Its always so jarring to see people post the exact same stuff open nazi's post.

Not saying you're a nazi or anything, just rambling about how memes spread through communities.

Social media ranking higher in trust isnt due to media accuracy. There are plenty of outlets that provide a consistent source of news. Its like the comments in here point to 5 bad news sites then smeer "news" as a whole. As if social media isnt 50x worse in every single metric.

Social Media ranks higher in trust because social media companies want users to trust the news they view on their platform. Social media "news" accounts constantly attack the reputation of traditional news outlets by pointing to bad news articles because they benefit directly from the audience losing trust.

Socalism is about owning a share of your workplace. Its got nothing to do with free healthcare or caring for the community

I'd pay so much money to see JD get 1v1000 dogpiled by tankies on any topic. It might be one of the few times i'd be on their side.

In the documentation https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Progressive_web_apps/Guides/Installing mozilla says you need to install this extension.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pwas-for-firefox/

However it says the extension is not actively monitored. Is this feature supported by firefox or not? It seems tacked on and unsupported.

I'm looking to pick up an old M1 macbook from my work if I can slap linux on it and turn it into a usable laptop. Its the A2338

I'm most worried about hardware support and running into constant wifi, keyboard and software bugs.

Does anyone have experience using this class of device with linux?
