I agree. As an American I didn't understand how this could happen. However, and this excuses nothing, but read the book "They Thought they were Free," by Milton Mayer. It explains how normal people were wrapped up in Germany. It was eye opening.

I'll have to look at that. What makes the Pepsi promo worth that? Rarity? How can you tell if its that one? I just collect the tapes and watch them I don't do much research.

No idea. A lot of them were aviation related. I work as a mechanic. I'm guessing they were left over from back in the day.
