Perhaps it will work out that you can. :-)
May you, your daughter and your peeps all thrive at this unexpected change. I hope you keep posting.
Fair. Mostly I bike, but my town is pretty small. Two friends have an electric smart car, so I’ve heard stories about them. I came across a couple that runs a delivery service (mostly food) using small EVs. I forget what model.
Montana has those Big Blue skies!!
It's data. Have you any to share?
NM Political Report after the end of early voting Saturday reported these numbers: Democrat: 307,311 (46.29%) Decline to State: 104,904 (15.8%) Libertarian: 5,301 (0.8%) Other: 2,982 (0.45%) Republican: 243,376 (36.66%) Total: 663,874 (556,026 in-person, 107,848 absentee)
So is that a Blue Mirage, before a Blue Tsunami? Hard to say.
Win - Win sort of plan you have.
About 6000 species of solitary bees in North America. Providing them habitat by planting the flowering species they visit is a huge first step. Additionally making 'space' for their larva is enormously helpful. Many are ground dwelling, so getting rid of 'landscape cloth' which blocks them from burrowing is useful.
Check with your local cooperative extension service for information about the bees in your area.
Here's an article from OSU on the topic: https://extension.oregonstate.edu/gardening/pollinators/nesting-habits-solitary-bees

I most certainly did not ask for this.
