Oh yeah her and I put in over 100 hours into it. It was scary watching her play because I let her have her own save and she was like on year 4 with nothing done because she refused to leave the house when it rained. And didn't know how to water crops so she just explored. Oh how much I forget how knowing nothing of how games are supposed to be played leads to just mindless wandering lol

Ok I get the Microsoft hate... I'm trying to introduce my daughter to Minecraft because it's a great game to just explore adventure and creativity. I own like 5 accounts all of them were username and password, and all of them paid for. But since they didn't have an email address I couldn't find most of them? I managed to get one back and it required the worst Microsoft account log in experience. When I finally managed to get into the game and be able to play it there was no way for me to do split screen.

How the hell is there no native split screen. The console versions have it. I had to spend hours finding mods and have to open 3 different programs just to get the game to open and play split screen by running 2 different Minecraft screens, and even then half the time it doesn't even work.

It turned me off so bad I said eff it and found some platform games for my daughter and I to play. Of which there are few, apparently Nintendo owns the best ones, Sony with their astrobots. I was left with some hat in time game which wasn't bad. But it definitely left a lot to desire.

I guess I'll have to check out it takes two

I don't get it. I got Minecraft when it was still beta, then played it with friends and fam when aether mods were a thing, that was like 6 to 8 years ago? What has changed about Minecraft that Libre is something that needs to exist?

The last panel is from a comical arrest of a gentleman.

I had a foam insulation board that I used to insulate my chicken coop. The chickens pecked at and ate a bunch of it before I noticed and got it covered up.

No. No they're not. They are not evil. This is the problem with the entire debate on abortion. Not everyone that is pro life leans with destroying care for the living. It's not a black and white argument. Unfortunately the law is black and white which is leading to deaths. Deaths that they need to understand is the cause of the Supreme Court decision

I'd like to see more statistics so I can argue the effect of this with more conservative people in my family. Unfortunately statistics like "deaths related to abortion laws saw 56% increase from 2018 to 2022" when Dobbs decisions was made in 2021 isn't exactly a strong argument to show that this decision is leading to deaths and not related to the effects of covid.

And before you argue with me, trust me you can't convince them that a fetus isn't a life. They will treat a fetus the same as a newborn baby. So unless I can prove to them that the law hurts mothers who want the baby I won't convince them the law is unjust, and abortion = murder.

I need to show increase in maternity deaths, unviable births, miscarriages leading to death, forced births leading to deaths. I need to show how this law actually hurts people who want children.

This isn't an argument about choice. The idea that a woman can terminate an unborn baby at will cannot be used as an argument here. There is no consensus that a "collection of cells isn't a baby". Remember that the same people who want to ban abortions also want women to have sex with a partner that is willing to have a child, unplanned pregnancies being part of that journey.

I just narrowly won over that contraception should be medically available.

40% more votes than they have now is 28 million votes each. There is definitely not 56 million more votes to count. At best there's about a million more left to count. Over 150 million votes have already been counted. That's just about the vast majority of votes cast

Dang I can't believe Hillary lost with 3 million more votes. That's insane considering Harris could have won ALL the swing states other than Florida for around a million votes.

I mean most states have less than 1% of votes left to count. What change are you expecting from this graph?

Hey guys I got the bambu P1S a couple months ago because it was recommended. I'm super new to 3d printing. This is my first one. I'm not new to electronics or computers. I ran a few of the built in prints, a dinosaur puzzle and this scraping tool but both came out fuzzy and in poor build shape. What can cause this? Shaky table? Cold temps (the printer is in my insulated garage getting around 65 degrees at the moment inside)? Is the stock bed bad? The filament it came with bad?

Thanks for any advice.

I'm sorry for posting this here. There isn't a solar panel instance, nor did I see anything for electricians. I know there's been a lot of gripe with certain solar companies (solgen being in litigation, and others) but I didn't hear much about freedom forever, since they're new to Seattle area where I'm doing this. Reddit seems to hate this company. But the price seems alright. I'm paying $22k for 7.4kw but getting it down to 15k after the state stipend. Less than $3 a watt which I'm guessing is really good. I'm planning to pay it off in 2 or 3 years. Not the full 25 which will cost me so much more. Can anyone point me in the right direction and if I'm making the right decision?

Sorry if this the wrong place, I couldn't find an HTPC, home theater, techsupport, or equivalent instance to ask.

The gist is I want to add a TV to my master bedroom for my wife to just browse the web, and for my kids to have something to watch in the mornings while my wife gets out of bed. I have a main pc in my theater room for gaming, and an HTPC on projector for movies and stuff. I don't want to get a roku or any mainstream smart device, but I'm OK with getting something like a raspberry pi (never done this) to have an air mouse hooked up to the TV so my wife can browse the web, open YouTube, Netflix, steam books, Spotify, as well as access my pc library of content for viewing. Not for gaming. Everything I'm finding online is people connecting their pc to their TV and it's always for gaming. I don't need large processing, just enough to watch things, while connecting to my home computers.

Thank you.
