One can only wonder why the Wall-e loaded up with genocidal military doctrine became genocidal π―
why do our robots keep choosing war in our war games /s
because games are boring if nobody does anything interesting for a while... and seconds seems like years to a computer...
We train them on human models. Guess what humanβs favorite pastime is?
Even this community talks about Revolution, which while for a good cause, is still warfare and death.
I was being sarcastic :)
But they're also trained in the English language. I wonder if a bot derived from other languages would behave the same.
Probably. Most languages are proud of their conflicts. Great Patriotic War for example.
Crackers: Who taught you how to do this stuff?
AI: I learned it by watching YOU!
White people are the only group that does war or violence? Thatβs probably one of the largest constants of human nature across every single ethnic, cultural, racial, religious, or national group; across all of human history, along with things such as music, art, love, empathy, etc.
Humans are inherently violent; we are still monkeys at heart, and while overcoming our instincts makes us human, they still shine through often.
I was just referring to Western media, mostly being comprised of violent media and content made by neoliberal whiteys. My joke wasn't meant to be read into this much.
My bad, I misjudged your tone and didn't mean to read into it that much. Definitely a bit overkill for the joke now that I read it in a more joking light. Sorry!
No worries :)

Movie AI apocalypse: Skynet takes over every computer on the internet and nukes all urban centres
Real "AI" apocalypse: clueless general asks a probabilistic chatbot what to do every day, accidentally starts war
this could be the next sitcom
I love that they're training the next generation off reddit posts. The most bloodthirsty racists outside of 4chan, who fill every r/worldnews and r/politics and r/europe thread with "i would like to eat brown people", are now the moral and logical foundation for AI chatbots just because it's the biggest body of words they can buy.
