5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

The state is so fucking corrupt and simultaneously incompetent. These neophyte Christian soldiers are going to grow up thinking all of America is like Texas because they'll never go anywhere else.
As with Florida, the kids will suffer most as their futures are conscripted to a gross cabal of two-faced men and the women who enable them.

I looked through a few of the materials. Just like Florida's slavery materials from a year ago, it uses dark patterns and weasel words to make it seem like it's no big deal. There's shit like, "The Christian Bible claims a man named Jesus was born in a manager because there was no room in the inn and when he grew up his followers viewed him as the messiah, and eventually the entire Roman Empire became Christian."
There's also a pointlessly long description (unless you know what the real point is) of how the Apostle Paul used the Roman road network, first to persecute Christians than after something (wink wink) happened, to spread Christianity.
It's gross.

EDIT: I'd also add that it looks like the Ammonites and the Moabites were enemies of the Israelites. Probably research material out there on this, but I imagine that this is sort of politically badmouthing the enemy.
