Nearly finished with an EPUB of Russian Justice, seems like a very niche book from searching on the internet, but a very good book. I'll finish it tomorrow, and post about it in the new thread.

Hot controversial take: engineers have the most important role in society because they are in charge of developing the productive forces. Problem is that the current education program makes them donkeys with no ideology, or status quo bootlickers.
I would say worse than no ideology, they are given a reactionary ideology if possible. That being said I would say a very important but I would not say "the most".
Life under capitalism:
For months I had been experiencing some back pain, which gave me stress. I have a mole near the painful spot and had it checked out by a doctor, but he saw no worrying things. I still had back pain, though. Months passed with daily stressful thoughts about what was going on. I worried it may have been cancer (lol) or that I was supposed to get an expensive treatment for whatever issue I was having.
Last week I figured I should just go to a physio because this couldn't go on any longer. Made an appointment for today. Had some examination. There's just this one muscle in my back that's so tense it could've very well been made out of steel. Had a massage, some stretch exercises and I feel better. I have some follow up appointments made to keep track of the muscle.
The best part? Apparently health insurance should pay for the majority of it. Here I was stressing for months over what turned out to be something minor all because I was afraid of high medical costs and what not.
the main factor is stress. please do some stretches everyday whenever you get time.
i had similar problems, migraine, eye strain and i got accupuncture. got so much better after that.
Is it time we stopped talking about boomers as if they're a generation? It seems to me there are some great people from that generation and plenty of younger people who have the traits of the boomer meme. I'm starting to think 'boomer' should apply to anyone who got wealthy in a bubble of a boom and didn't lose the wealth afterwards. It just happens that they're were lots of those people post-war. But the same distortion of reality has infected many others since then, too.
It's actually from the period shortly after WW2 in which there was a 'boom' in the population because so many people were getting kids post war. Nowadays people use the term incorrectly to just describe old people. But the oldest boomers are now around 78 while people aged 50-60 also get called boomer for showing entitled mayonaise colored behavior.
The term boomer has indeed stopped defining a post war generation and instead now describes entitled, rich and out of touch (white) people.
That makes sense. This is why it's important to trace the meaning of words through history. I'm curious now as to how entitled, rich and out of touch the post-war generation actually was – and whether the current 'boomers' have given the actual boomers a bad name.
You can’t believe ordinary plebs don’t even have access to compute because it’s gobbled up by big tech, so you have to pay corporations to use AI. this should be a basic right now.

To add to my previous comments about the polls:
Besides being the fourth biggest party in Flanders, we are also the third biggest in Wallonia and we even remain THE biggest party in EU and NATO capital Brussels
I'm so fucking done with fucking redditors and their fucking unfunny jokes and pop culture references. They think they're comedic geniuses but they're beating a dead horse into the ground. So many jokes in movies and tv shows get ruined because redditors quote it all the time. I'm Dutch and I'm so tired of seeing that Austin Powers quote everytime my country is brought up. I swear when I saw Star Wars for the first time, I already knew half the dialogue. And when they do try to be funny without using preexisting jokes from media, they're not funny either. I saw someone make a joke about Steve Irwin's death.
And my axe! Hello there! Big chungus Keanu Reeves!
Fully agree with you. Reddit people are some of the most unfunny people every. Even worse when you meet some of them in real life and they start making the same movie jokes. One of my friends is like that and even though he is a nice guy I just wish he'd shup up lol.
I am posting more because I deleted Grindr which was practically my only social interaction as my friends are sadly adults with jobs. I appreciate every person interacting with me. Thank you for your labour.

I made a mistake, I engaged with Zionists, I think I am going to lose my mind, its unbelievable.
New polls again have us as the fourth biggest party in Flanders for upcoming elections.
With around 11% of the votes. Nearly 1 in 8 people is willing to vote communist.
That's fantastic news! Best I've heard in a while.
Nearly 1 in 8 people is willing to vote communist.
Hype! Hype! Hype!
I saw this on reddit and want to know your perspectives on Assad.
reddit opinion is not a representation of the people of a country. the people that use those subreddits are mostly americans.
As an example: reddit.com/r/china, /r/japan, /r/korea are all whites or 3rd gen who has visited the country once 15 years ago.
lol r japan and korea are whities who are nowhere close to native populace opinions. it’s so funny.
every single country subreddit is a shithole full of reactionaries.
Brazil has ended all diplomatic ties with Israel and has recalled its ambassador.
THIS IS HUGE
News like this makes me wish I had a vuvuzela on hand.
And no other government besides Israel has criticized Lula's speech.
