If this is even real, and if they "predicted" the outcome accurately then they're not being picked on, they're being investigated to find out if there was some chicanery going on in the real polls that this douchecanoe found out about and exploited. Which would be illegal af from multiple angles.

I mean the betting odds for presidential elections are crazy accurate. This isn't poker, being good at statistics isn't illegal.
The CIA and NSA always have bets running on what will happen, it's a very accurate way to estimate actual outcome.
