Summary

Following Donald Trump’s election victory, women are experiencing a surge in misogynistic harassment online, with phrases like “your body, my choice” trending as men taunt women about reproductive rights.

The phrase, co-opted from feminist slogans, reflects heightened hostility, with reports of threats on platforms like TikTok and X/Twitter.

This backlash arises as Trump’s administration, alongside VP-elect JD Vance, raises concerns about potential federal restrictions on abortion.

Even without a federal ban, existing state laws have already limited access to reproductive care, contraception, and increased maternal health risks.

A campaign run by trolls wasn't just gonna stop trolling once they win. Of course they were gonna double down with being awful people.

Sore winners? What a surprise.

Dumb fucks being themselves: I just don't know why women don't like me.

Im sure some of this is real. But i wonder how much of this is actually foreign state actors. We have a bunch of countries working overtime trying to destabilize the U.S. right now.

I think we should absolutely consider foreign actors as the likely seed for some of these flashy, rage-bait stories. Russia's primary goal since 2015 has been to keep us from trusting one another, and I expect them to ramp up messaging to leftist groups over the next few months. We're uncertain, isolated, and afraid, and that makes us likely targets for cultural wedge disinformation.

At least 90% is my guess. MANY foreign countries are trying very hard to ensure we tear ourselves apart from the inside

Someone explain to me how a federal abortion ban could be in any way different from a federal cannabis ban? What's stopping states from saying "We're not enforcing that federal law"?

America elected an Incel-in-Chief, so that's not really surprising.

Fits in nicely with the recent article about conservative men having trouble dating. Maybe don't antagonize women?

These people are so filled with fucking hate.

Like, seriously, no small wonder nobody actually wants to fuck you.

Yet conservative women always are so confused why their partners are such shitheads who don't treat them respectfully.
