Everyone knows you don't change the opossum. You change the leaves when they become damp or start flaking off, or every 2000 miles.

My buddy and I are techies. My van kept misfiring. Did we lift the hood. Nope we hooked up the port reader which confirmed that there was misfiring.

When we did open the hood there was a squirrel living under the hood and he had chewed the plug wires.

Only change when the leaves get soggy, otherwise you are good to continue to raise the possum in the vehicle nest.

If it's a synthetic possum, 5,000 miles is the usual recommended. But you can stretch it to 6 or even 7 thousand miles if you want to
