We're ~25 minutes in, and so far I would say this debate is close, but Walz is edging out Vance. He's not as polished, but he's coming across as more genuine, and he's directly answering.
There's also the fact the JD is lying.
Funnily enough, I think Vance had a savvy answer on climate change and Walz has dominated on immigration

Do you live near the southern border? No one disagrees that there are serious difficulties with border enforcement and illegal immigration right now. They're debating what to do about it. I would honestly encourage you to follow more reporting on border issues. Like actual reportage, not commentary. It's rough.
