As a diehard Spartan fan, whoever is voting like that should be banned.

Michigan State is undefeated with a win over a team that doesn't appear to be a total cupcake. I try to avoid previous-season bias, and only look at the current season results. Frankly, it's basically a k-way tie in that range this early in the season, and it could have just as easily been some other team at 24.

I completely overlooked the ballots. Thatβs spicy!
Apparent to me:
- Lots of movement this week, much more than anticipated. Whether that's from eye test metrics or super niche stats is going to depend on the ballot
- 26 spots this week with a tie for 25th
- This week everyone who dropped out still got some pity points
- Mizzou moves up with that performance?
- We really just bumped up TN after kicking an onside kick while up 30 in the 1st quarter against Kent St? Subscribe
- Speaking of, this is the highest c/cfb has ever ranked the top 10ESSEE Vols (3)!
- Most voters seem to be dumping their Louisville stock, but Penn State takes a massive 8 spot slide
- ND ranked above NIU?!?!
- Memphis beats ^23^FSU and doesn't get a single vote
- Lots of fresh faces low in the poll, welcome to the side banner new teams!
I have Memphis at 29. If they keep winning, they would probably get some votes from me. But, beating an 0-3 team isn't particularly impressive.
