The owls probably attract many of us solitary, quiet types, but even they make their voices heard now and then to say, "this is where I belong!"

The potted owl implies the existence of a panned owl.
In the 60’s NASA helped develop spray-on Owls as part of the Apollo program.
That probably provides great thermal insulation!
And possibly canned owls too
