These morons should not have the power they have. They should not have ANY power.
Okay, so they took an actual photo but it had no identifying marks, so they dumped it into one of the chat bots and asked it to slap a logo in the corner. The chatbot fired up its diffusion model and went to town diffusing everything else while adding the logo.
The image can be reasonably called non-ai-generated, but whoever manages their socials is inept.
This happens on lemmy and all over the net more and more. People use AI upscalers before posting and then get mad when people accuse them of posting AI slop.
Actually insane.
actually also means there is a nonzero chance “evidence” put forth by this pd is fake. They should be disbanded and never allowed to be cops.
We should probably just do that for all of them to be fair to everyone involved.
