The wild winds tonight are stressing me out.

Hope nobody’s house is made of straw, or sticks.

To the bucket I lost, if you're reading this, you're always welcome back home if it's a gale force sth. easterly I have kept your bedroom just as it was.

the best thing about the new Rings of Power is it doesn't have lenny henry

even with this improvement so much of the story/characterisation makes me either angry or exasperated

and they have persisted with keeping the audience guessing a bit regarding Sauron's identity

and orcs have Cockney accents

but the show is so beautiful to look at

Love this.

I'm sure an italian would have a go at the pasta though.

looks at weather forecast

smells oodie

I guess it's a trip to the laundromat this weekend then

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

I’ve got a knockoff oodie and have to wash it frequently. I think it gets a bit smelly fast due to being a warm and synthetic garment. And the delicate fleece lining gets matted easily with washing.

I’m thinking to just buy a an oversized mens hoodie in some warm fabric for something a bit sturdier and roll up the sleeves.

Eep. Tuesday had a forecasted low of 3 degrees :(

I’ve decided to take the day off tomorrow.

My long weekend starts!

I don't like squats so I've stopped doing them. They always feel incredibly awkward and I rather suspect they aggravate my sciatica.

Are glute bridges any better?

I am not a physio

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

I'm ok with glute bridges and still do them.

Have you tried goblet squats?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

I read this as "goblin squats" and thought it describes the way I squat to pet the cat quite aptly haha

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

The only squats don't feel horribly awkward on either my back or knees are hack squats but unfortunately my gym doesn't have a hack squat machine.
