Yup! She, like most of us, just wants to be told she’s real pretty.
Wholesome! 😄
Cute!
How do you like those bone-conduction headphones?
I also have a pair of those and I like them. You kind of need to adjust your expectations and realize the specific use case. Hi-Fi they are not, but the point is to leave your ears open to the sounds of your environment and in that they excel. Would recommend.
People actually usually interpret those as part of my glasses! They’re my daily wear headphones, and they’re on my head when I’m not asleep at night or in the shower. It’s nice to have background music on demand.
I love The Beths! I'd love to see them one day.
"...figured you all needed to see her cause she's pretty."
You're both pretty; ask her, she'll back me up.
What's the deal with the unusually shaped glasses?
So these are what derails so many glasses in AI genereated pics
Just doing my part!
They're amazing excuse you
I saw ‘em in a Facebook ad and my first thought was “those are so dumb.” But just like Krusty’s Klown Kollege invading Homer’s head, these glasses kept haunting me—the perfect glasses to accentuate my Final Fantasy-esque style.
The day I got them, my wife told me they were cute, but I thought they were so fuckin’ weird, but I kept ‘em cause she liked them.
And they grew on me.
And now I have two variations.
(Also those glasses are called “Audition,” sold by Aoolia.)
How is downtown Portland doing? I knew the location as soon as I saw the picture. My wife and I live in BC but got married in Portland and visited a lot in 2010-2014 but haven't been back since we had a kid. We stayed in a hotel about 2 blocks from that plaza a few times.
It’s slowly but gently coming back to life after being battered to hell in the pandemic!
Well that's good... I've been trying to work on my courage to visit downtown more often... (Just right outside the city!) But I can't even walk down the street longer than 10 minutes without someone catcalling me or asking me for something. Headphones don't even do anything anymore. 😭
I live out in Hillsboro, but I have to go into the city all the time for work and social stuff and things. I’m at the Worker’s Tap most Friday nights, at the trans social there. You’re always welcome to come.
AAAAA! I know about the worker's tap! ;0; Chur not the only transfem I met here already. They've also been trying to get me to go but just... Wehhhh... Travelling alone is rough for me, especially since I can't drive so I'm forced to either carpool or public transport. (And even with the trimet, I still am just anxious the entire time. >^<)
I'll get over it... Eventually... maybe
