Sometimes when you drive and think you will be able to proceed but something happens that you have to stop and sometimes that's over a crosswalk. That happen. Some car or motorcycle might drive fast or they might run a red light, or three could just be an error that keeps you from proceeding.

This is not something to get upset about. It can happen for many reasons.

It is the law in most places to not enter the intersection unless you can clear it. So blocking the intersection is 99% of the time the driver's fault.

Part of the issue is, a lot of intersections don’t have great visibility at the original stop position. People pull forward to make sure their turn will be safe.

Certainly plenty of them are doing it out of impatience, and they deserve some flak.

If an intersection has that poor of visbility, it should be rebuilt to a safer standard.

99%? Source?

My point was that it's usually not malicious, definitely not to warrant walking over someones car.

Absolutely fake. But also, of all the shitty things cars do, occasionally blocking a cross walk when there is ample space to go around isnt the worst.

I'd love to see something like this for blocking bike lanes or parking on the sidewalk.

Yeah, bad street planning often means it’s impossible to see crosstraffic to turn unless you’re all the way into the crosswalk.

If I’m walking and it happens, just walk behind their car. One of the most common scenarios for pedestrians to get hit is when people are turning right on red; They’re focused on watching the cross traffic, not looking at where their car is going. So they’ll see a gap and accelerate, only to hit a pedestrian.

My friends and I did this once, so not necessarily fake.

I think the door would be locked so the guy couldn’t just open it from the outside. Although it’s hard to see if he didn’t open from the inside given there’s about 5 total pixels

Real or fake. Drive like an asshole. Get what you deserve.

So stupid and fake. Guy in an unbuttoned shirt being the stereotypical trust fund bro. Handheld camera conveniently already running and pointed right at the action. r/whyweretheyfilming
