On the web, left of my name, my avatar is a black box, but on my profile page I can clearly see it.

well, you were right, I saved it as a PNG and re-uploaded it, and now it works, problem solved then :)

Confirmation from my account : cannot see your avatar, neither in your post, nor in your comments. But i can see it in your profile.
Maybe server is slow to update ?
