And it is delicious.

After the nearest outlet shut its doors, and facing a walk of almost 800m (!) to the next closest, I decided to try Aldi's not-greggs-but-basically-is.

And honestly...They're not half bad.
We tried the rolls, chicken, and steak bakes. They're about 1/4 of the price. And live in the freezer. Ideal.

Do Iceland still do Official Greggs Products in their freezer section? Steak bakes made at home never tasted quite the same as they do off of the tray of random temperature in the shops, but sometimes that's an itch that needs scratching.

Get a few bottles of suspiciously-cheap no-brand spirits, a few cartons of fruit drink and a couple of bottles of carbonated beverages, empty the whole lot into the 'punch' bucket while the 50-piece snack food selections heats through in the oven, including a few genuine Greggs items as centrepieces? Am telling you, Iceland has everything you need to kickstart a very reasonably-priced house party.

Been a while but I think so. The sausage rolls taste exactly the same. I guess because they are actually Greggs sausage rolls...

Can confirm Iceland still do the official sausage rolls. Had one for lunch. Still can't get them to cook right in the air fryer, and feel like it's a waste putting the oven on for a single sausage roll.

Not to boast, but we have an Aldi, Greggs, M&S Food, Food Warehouse, Home Bargains, Poundland, and Costa all within 300m of the house. Living the dream.

Too bad you don't have a Lidl then you could also buy wetsuits, and the mini USB fridge, but pretty much everything else is covered.

The Lidl is 500m away. It's just too far. Almost did my back in carrying the pizza oven home.

Do you live in a shopping mall or industrial estate? Either one would be The Dream.

Goddamned, you could save a fortune by not having a fridge or freezer!
