Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

He is struggling to focus because of the dementia. Age, syphilis, and Adderall abuse have taken their toll.

Let him crack, your vote is still important. So do it when it's your time.

He's just upset that he's never gotten such a large rise for a while now.

Could it be that he’s struggling to focus because he’s a senile old sociopathic traitor to his country?

Quoting Ben Shapiro:

"You were better off in 2019 than you are in 2024.”

Why not 2020? Trump was President for the whole of 2020.

I mean, it's fairly obvious that COVID changed many things even in countries that actually did something about it...

It also caused massive inflation and put the economy on shaky ground, which is really what they want to pin on Biden. So going back to 2019 makes sense but is dishonest.

"Makes sense but is dishonest," is Ben Shapiro's entire existence. (Except the parts that also don't make sense.)

I doubt that you’ll find any supporters with enough integrity and clear vision to report those things to the media. Nice try, nyt.

There's only one thing Trump wants more than the power of the Presidency: Attention.

He hates that the news is dismissive of him and are instead following the Harris campaign with excited interest. It seems to be getting in the way of unifying their message.

The smart GOP politickers (e.g. Senator John Thune) know the path to victory is to keep quiet on the worst part of their policies for now and repeat policy buzzwords and attacks until the rank-and-file fall in line. Trump isn't patient enough to play that game.

Donald J. Trump’s allies want him to talk about the issues

His entire political campaign strategy has been about attacking his opponent personally. He did it with Hillary in 2016, With Biden in 2020, and again with Biden in 2024. He tried to do the same with Harris, but he hasn't found something that sticks yet and that's causing a lot of problems.

This is what you get when you promote a guy who can't do anything but insult people, even if he will agree to sign anything for anyone that says "You're doing a good job, champ"

[–] [email protected] 41 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Not only is he not getting anything to stick but he’s completely unprepared to deal with Harris or Walz clapping back.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

It's crazy that it took the Democratic Party eight years to realize that clapping back was a thing they could do, but it's nice that they've finally figured it out.
