/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ **8. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

I feel like we all would have noticed Riker smuggling a 14" summer sausage in one of those Federation uniforms.

After the Eugenics Wars, artificial manipulation of the human genome was as prohibited, except for very specific purposes.

Riker's python, Worf's got two... truly, the crew of the Enterprise D was blessed.

Worf’s got two

We only know that one specific Klingon had two. And those Klingons appear to be a different species from Worf since we've seen Klingons from before and after the Discovery era and they either looked like Worf or TOS Klingons, which were the wrinkle forehead Klingons augmented with the same genetic augments as Khan according to Enterprise. There is a fan theory that I like that the Klingon Empire is actually more than one species, like the Xindi, which fight for control.

Which Klingon had two? Kahless?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

There's a scene in Discovery where you see a Klingon peeing and there are two streams. So it's more implied.

I’m up to Voyager, but Discovery is coming next then! 😅

For what it's worth, I think Discovery's first season was pretty disappointing, I enjoyed 2-4, but the fifth season was probably the worst season in all of Star Trek.

On the other hand, Prodigy is some of the best Star Trek I've ever seen, especially season 2, which is almost another season of Voyager.

Good deal. When it comes to Trek, I’ve decided to just take in all of it; the good, the bad, and The Final Frontier.

Also, at this point, I’m used to a Trek having a rough first couple seasons.

I get it. I recently started a 943 Club thread in our sister community for more serious Star Trek posts for people who have gotten to or plan to get to all 943 Star Trek TV show episodes, movies and Short Treks. I just achieved that by finishing Prodigy. Good luck and enjoy!

When worf got hit by that barrel and was paralyzed for an episode, they definitely mentioned that Klingons and an unusual number of duplicate organs due to their violent history.

It doesn't explicitly state double dongs, but it does imply it.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Which does make you wonder. Jadzia would definitely find a way, but what was going on with Troi and Ezri?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Series versus parallel

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

“Engage sideways docking.”
“I wish you wouldn’t say this every time, Worf.”

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

We only know that one specific Klingon had two.

Didn't Lorca make some reference to all Klingons having two? When that one Klingon threatened to rape him or whatever

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I thought it was only the one we saw peeing.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago (2 children)

S1E5, around 23:00

LORCA: I hear you're seeking solace in the arms of a human male. We don't even have the right number of organs for you.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Drawled Lucius Malfloy. I know at least half of you read it in that voice too.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Gotcha. Thanks.

Even the android is....fully functional.

Post this again, but with a picture of him smiling knowingly.

[–] [email protected] 35 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Pretty sure he did it first

[–] [email protected] 32 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Yeah, I was going to say, it's the guy who came up with these:

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

To be fair (ish) the sixties were wild on the costume department. See “These boots are made for walking” for example.

#JusticeForTheScant

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

The scounce was too sexy for its time

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Lower decks confirmed the scants are still a uniform option, just out of vogue

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

I mean, it's just a tunic.
