It doesn't matter the size or shape of the carrot, but what you do with it. It's even perfectly normal for carrots to take a bit of a bend at full size, which doesn't usually require any correction unless the angle makes it particularly difficult to handle normally.
I like that you used a vegetable with such a variety of sizes that it means nothing in the context of scale.

How quickly do you eat this? Personally when I buy bread the last part is always a bit stale.. Do you freeze half of it or do anything that makes it last longer?
Half was gone the same day. Lasts around three days before it's gone.
Not doing anything to preserve it except covering it with a cloth.
