Woke up at bumfuck o'clock and couldn't get back to sleep, but it meant I could get my big daily walk in before work and thus I blew past 10,000 steps before 11am.

Sleep still shit and the sleep debt is compounding.
Also shit sleep. Garbage trucks doing the rounds woke me up early, then more street noise compared to usual ensured I could not fall back to sleep. About to go for coffee 2 for the day.
Sameee I am so exhausted I think I'll sleep okay tonight though
The agency for which I submitted a FOI Request under Section 39 has not given me a response within 30 days, so that probably means I'll have to go to VCATโwhich is something I really don't want to do.

Gratitude thread!
My manager offered me a shift this morning which was great. I wasn't going to be working at all otherwise.
Also grateful for my aunt's puppy that I saw briefly today.
Renewing my license seems like it may not be as difficult as I'd worried. Will find out tomorrow morning!
I appreciate all the wonderful people who spend time contributing to OpenStreetMap. Especially grateful for those who leave notes with photos that allow more technical users to improve the map. The quality of OSM is at times better than Google Maps which makes me really happy to see.
If anybody wants to help - download StreetComplete. Contributing is so much fun!

anyone know where I can get giant googly eyes? Like, mug diameter or above. I've mounted my doona hangers and it's googly eyes or moloch.

Amazon seem to lose a few parcels lol. They lost a phone case I ordered while I was staying at the AirBNB a month ago, and they lost my favourite rice crackers today. I got a refund last time, but this time I just wanted my crackers so I contacted them. Apparently they're resending it with same day delivery. Excluding uber parcels, and all the knockoff uber style delivery people, I've never had a parcel arrive same day before. I have the option on some things with Amazon, but even with prime, you have to spend 50 bucks to get it for free. Otherwise it's free next day

Air quality is abysmal in the Western Suburbs right now
Kingsville is at 151. New Dehli is at 107. New York is at 56. Pretty similar around the rest of the west too. 112 in north Williamstown, 133 in Port Melbourne, 125 in Moonee ponds, 122 in Brooklyn.
IKR. I'm wondering if its just the fog trapping the freeway and industrial crap or if there's something else going on
I keep close tabs on the air quality for health reasons, so I've been watching it slowly get worse over the past couple days. I think there are a few planned burns going on and the wind is taking the smoke over, but it could really be anything. Hopefully it clears up
Went out and got a cheap laptop for TAFE. Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Melbcat didnโt eat her meal and spat out her syringed meds this morning - right down the inside of my sleeve! Thankfully sheโs finished her antibiotics but she still needs her pain meds.
