Agreed. At least they published a paper.

If this works at scale? Great, amazing. It'll let the sugar industry run rampant for a little bit longer

China does, surprisingly, have an extremely high diabetic percentage. So I'm guessing it's something they're actually concerned about at scale

The lifestyle treatments for type 2 diabetes, limiting sugar, limiting vegetable oils, and increasing exercise are more controversial than taking an unknown drug
