Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

I always thought I was seeing too many copies of the same post. Usually chalked it up to cross posting or reposts, but today I just saw the exact same post twice almost back to back, from the same user to the same community on the same instance. Is this a bug? What's going on?

I'm having this issue too:

I'm having this issue too To the point where I will see the same posts by the same users and communities 3-4 times in a row, repeatedly. It didn't used to be this bad, but the past month or so, it's constant. My app is up to date.

I like jerboa, but it's to the point where I'm seriously considering other lemmy apps.

You still experience this with 0.71 and on which instance?

Yes. .world instance. Here's a small video clip of it in action as soon as I opened jerboa this morning.

I can't see the video but It should be fixed in the next release

I've seen this on a bunch of different web forums. Probably an issue common to a s/w design principle or library.

Huh, that is odd. The algorithm should sort but not insert anything.

I see the same thing daily. I usually take it as a sign to quit scrolling and do something else. It's a feature, not a bug.
