A place to discuss pro-conservative stuff

  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

I've seen the response from the left-leaning media and from democrat politicians after the attempted assassination of Trump. While there have been some chronically online people wishing that Trump had been killed, the vast consensus is that political violence is not acceptable.

I have also seen the response from the right-leaning media and Republican politicians after January 6th and the violence against Nancy Pelosi's husband, and how both politicians and pundits attempted to downplay and excuse the violent actions of their supporters.

I think it's pretty clear that the right is far more willing to both use and excuse political violence.

Try to fail your opponents, trying to demonize them.

You know what is really interesting? The Nazis based their beliefs on the Democrats.

For really fun reading, compare the 25 points to the Democrat talking points here on Lemmy. It's oddly very similar.

Fascist doesn't understand what makes fascism fascism.

In other news, 2 is a prime number.

What does "don't let them get away with this" mean? Are you suggesting violence against people for allegedly calling for violence?

Wouldn't need to fight for justice if felons were put in prison once convicted.

Anyone flying the banner of this coup attempting monster is a traitor to god and country.
