Was he not also that guy who thought Brexit was a super great idea and then was ever so slightly miffed when he found out it would make touring much more difficult for Iron Maiden?

So…
I'm reminded of Christopher Lee, who's awesomeness on the silver screen (and in Metal) was only the tip of his iceberg of accomplishments.
Finding out about Charlemagne blew me away. Christopher Lee was so much more badass than I knew.
It's 1994. The Bosnian-Serbian conflict is still raging. Some cool dude from the UN peace keepers thinks it would be good to have a concert.
He contacts Bruce Dickinson and says, "wanna play a much needed gig in a warzone?"
Bruce says, "yes".
Here's the documentary.
Absolute legend
Just read through a few articles of this stuff, holy shit, this man actually did it, in an active warzone, with constant threat of snipers
The PhD is apparently only honorary. I was curious because it’d be nuts to be an undergrad learning music theory from Bruce Fucking Dickinson.
Everything else seems to check out. He also performed in Sarajevo during the siege in 94 which is pretty fucking badass.
