Chicken is risky business. Had some in the fridge that should have been good for a few more days but it didn't smell quite right. Chucked it out, not worth the risk.
Watching The Marvels and it's honestly not a bad flick.
For recent Marvel offerings it's a pleasant surprise
Liked it very much too. It's a refreshing break from the usual Marvel movies.
Story was kind of meh, but the non-serious tone was cool
And Kamala is a riot.
I didn’t really care about the story. Just wanted to have fun and I did, very much.
Kamala carried the whole movie.

Not everyone's cuppa but can definitely shine.
I enjoyed it. A lot of people went in wanting to hate it.
It's fun as heck. And I'm a sucker for out of place musical numbers.
Kittenpants is still spurning the wet food then jumping up asking for wet food - or asking for something :/ It's got bonito flakes, crumbled treats on top and everything. This is a repetitive issue. What's worse is if I ever do get her to eat some of it she gets an appetite and asks for more portions which get eaten no problem.
she has kidney problems?
She might have a little kidney problem induced dementia
She does have some kidney disease, but I was told she was doing really well with it and her kidneys were good... she has had a stubborn extended uti though (still being treated) so I might have to get that checked out.
I'm hoping really hard that it's just nausea from constipation or the antibiotics. And that the jumping for my attention is conveying 'I want something/please fix something' because she's not feeling good. 🤞
Edit: Actually I did hear that utis can cause confusion in in elderly people or people with dementia :/

I’ve been slowly befriending a lil black bird in my yard and today he felt comfortable enough to hop up towards, flick some leaves in my direction, and hop on 20cm right past me instead of flying a further distance to get around me.
Pretty chuffed.

I'm surprised. Was looking to spend quite a bit of dollarydoos on a new trench coat. I had specific design details that I wanted (not all trench coats are the same) and I saw one (online) that I'm assuming was last season's stock (all sold out). By chance I went into the store and asked. They had one left and it was 4 sizes bigger (I was looking for oversized) and I wasn't sure it would work, but the lovely store person made it work! I'm so chuffed. (It was also missing a small bit, but not bothered.) From looking at spending 4-something (it was also originally priced in that range) to less than 70.
In fact, I love it so much I'm sitting in it typing. Haha.
I've bought bigger sizes before thinking I could get the oversized thing to work, but I don't think it works with all pieces of clothing.
I've fed the dog and he still tries to hustle a meal from other family members. Fucking scammer.
I can't get Vegas to eat his food today. He just keeps whinging for a treat (he has these chicken milk stick things he loves) but I said this afternoon no more sticks until he eats his food and I meant it.
I did treat him with a little bit of roast chicken at lunch time though..
Smear the food with peanut butter.
Or clever? Hehe.
He has the street smarts but I'm pretty sure cats do this too. Haha.
