  2. It must be unusual or cursed in some way. a. For example, something like Doritos Milk would be unusual, but normal milk would not.
  3. No AI posts whatsoever, and any images that were altered (Ex: Photoshop, Gimp) need to be tagged.

How to tag: To tag your posts, please prepend or append the tag name inside square brackets. For example,[OC] Foo bar baz or foo bar baz [Meta] would be acceptable. Multiple tags will require separate pairs of brackets, like so: [Edited][OC] foo bar baz

There is no way someone made this other than to troll.

Fucking hell, I thought those were mussels in between the olives and I had to check it online. It's not. They're oysters ! This is no mere crime, this is an aggravated assault. Post of the year.

I like my oysters raw and alive with a bit of lemon, thank you very much. Now that I say it, it doesn't sound any more appetizing though.

It's an aspic, which is like the savoury version of fruit and Jello. Even people who liked them would probably agree that the kiwi and oyster? do not belong. The rest is entirely believable as an aspic that people would have made and eaten in the US around the 1950s to 1970s. I've never tried one myself, but I think I'd prefer to keep it that way.

Green pimento olives and kiwi together??? 🤢

At first I thought this was some sort of fruit salad jello, but it isn’t. It’s just… everything.

Ham? Carrots or maybe cheddar? I assume the whipped shit is egg? Maybe fish on top or something, and then peas, olives, and kiwi..? Just why..?

That's an aspic, jello but for meat flavors!

Looks like an aspic to me. Ham, olives, and vegetables along with some fruit. Kiwi is an interesting choice , because the fruit has a protein-eating enzyme that affects the way gelatin solidifies. Usually they contain prunes or raisins.

I thought potatoes for the whipped part. But I have no clue.

I hope those are sunflower seeds and not fish.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 5 months ago (1 children)

The fish goes with the mayo icing

[–] [email protected] 1 points 5 months ago

I thought it looked more like spray cheese, but mayo would be equally upsetting

What are the grey things that look like uncooked prawns on the top layer?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 months ago

I don't think I even want to know...

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 months ago

It looks like deli sliced turkey to me, which fits with the ham cubes at the bottom and kiwi in the middle.

I did think that - and then wished I hadn't.

I was thinking pickled herring

It's a masterpiece of the 70s.

Someone spent a lot of time on that.
