Banned? DM Wmill to appeal.
No anti-nautilism posts. See: Eco-fascism Primer
Slop posts go in c/slop. Don't post low-hanging fruit here.
Nope it was last year, as was covid and the first Trump/Clinton election
sorry to burst your bubble but half a decade has not passed without me realizing it
Apparently FULLCOMMUNISM is still around even though was guaranteed around the same time. It doesn't even have the cringe message saying you should go look at Victims of Communism either.
On the dawn of June 30th, r/Chapotraphouse arose to the thunder-burst of “Check out this dope ass bear!” What is the Hexbear, that sphinx so tantalizing to the bourgeois mind?
"“The proletarians of reddit,” said the Central Committee in its manifesto.“ amidst the failures and treasons of the ruling classes, have understood that the hour has struck for them to save the situation by taking into their own hands the direction of posting.... They have understood that it is their imperious duty, and their absolute right, to render themselves masters of their own destinies, by seizing upon the reddit power.”"
it's ok they banned the already-empty /r/the_donald as consolation
They may have lost the reddit battle but they won the war.
Twice!
A lot has changed in those years....
I legit had liberals on a “politically neutral” Discord server telling me to “go back to Chapo” in 2023. It’s clear it has left an imprint on their online psyche
i got banned from reddit 3 months ago? for writing "luigi" and nothing more on a PGE rate increase post in my local sub
I was watching The Godfather part 2 (after really loving part 1) when I noticed that it was banned. It really ruined my experience watching the movie
Best thing to ever happen to us. It feels so nice being able to say that billionaires should get the without getting banned immediately for being "uncivil".
Honestly yeah, we were on borrowed time being on reddit anyway, chapo was only tolerated for so long. Not to mention the mods of the old sub were weird nerds that would ban people for disagreeing with them or downvoting their dumb bits. Hexbear is waaay healthier and actually feels like a community.

not you, you've always been cool
I'm the one that invented the main rule. I'm like one of the most arbitrary people around that fell upwards the ladder of nerddom
been here since the ban (on different accounts) kill all slave owners
I was out getting lunch on my first day back from an 8 day work week. I checked my phone to if anything good had been posted to chapotraphouse3 when i saw that everyone had flooded over to blackwolffeed. Took me a minute to realize that we had posted too hard and now everyone was looking for a new home.
Then i clicked off and started browsing twitter.
It's wild that they still allow /r/trueanon and /r/shitliberalssay. Both have the same tone of posting and most of the same posters. Chapotraphouse hit a unique nerve with reddit.
And death to slave masters.
r/shitliberalssay was pretty mild back then compared to chapo or moretankiechapo.
I don't think I was subscribed at the same time I was r/chapotraphouse in like 2015, but by maybe 2019 the comment section was a real proto-/c/slop. They have that same kind of metamodernist dada culture where they're chaotic good feral dogs.
"promoting hate" is apparently "I don't think slaveowners should be alive."
Similar story to today where "promoting hate" is "I don't think killing children is okay"
Happy Independence Day!
God, was it only five years ago. I feel like I've been here forever
