Norris and Piastri held it together throughout the whole race, only to crash into each other when they're getting weighed

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

It was bound to happen ๐Ÿ˜€

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago (1 children)

That was very cool - we had Alonso and Bortelleto two laps behind, then Tsunoda another lap behind, then Norris and Piastri in the lead all within a couple of corners

yeah cool race but thanks to the mclaren for the show tbh

We need some solution for lapping cars. Borteleto would have got also of not for the blue flags

Hamilton: I don't want to pit now

Ferrari: Yes you do

Hamilton: I don't want to change tires

Ferrari: Yes you do

Why are Ferrari always like this ๐Ÿ˜ญ

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

It's amazing how shit the Merc is when it's hot.

Karun Chandhok on sky commentary just said Red Bull hasn't had a second driver pushing for results since Riccardo. How do people forget how good Perez actually was. It's clear that Max is just on another level, but Perez worked some miracles to be as close as he was (at times)

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

I find it easy to forget Perez's highs, as they get overshadowed by the long, downwards spiral he was on at the end. In contrast, Ricciardo left while being closer to an equal to Max. That's the image my memory is painting, anyway.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I was thinking the same thing. He was even fighting Verstappen at the start of the season a few years back. (I forget which year it was, but Perez won almost every street race I think)

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I kind of think it's both. There was a time - when the car wasn't undriveable - where he was legitimately close to Max. But there was also a quite long period where he was quite terrible.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

Red Bull is slowly becoming shit and Max, love him or hate him, is a such a good driver that he is less affected by it. Checo, Liam, and now Yuki are all getting tanked by the car and even Max is having trouble holding on now. Then Liam got into a Racing Bull and while theyโ€™re not the fastest he looks just fine.

Itโ€™s plain to see that the car is the problem.

Disaster day for Red Bull at their home race. Tsunoda in last place with a 10s penalty and Verstappen DNF means no points today.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

Yuki I love you but maybe it's time to become a full time chef.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago (1 children)

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

Omg Albon retirement again! 3 races in a row.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It's bizarre, Williams have to have fucked up their cooling or something right?

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I think Saintz's brakes were stuck on, rather than it being a cooling issue

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

Oh, I was talking of Albon and all his recent DNFs. Sainz was a clear break issue I agree.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

haha the last two laps only on mclaren cars.. wondering if there is any other teams.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Great fight from the papayas.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago (2 children)

We need a double DNF for McLaren soin, to help keep the championship fight interesting.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

+5sec with Ferrari. at least they created the gap with the rest.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

well this mclaren race is interesting and yeah it smells like DNF.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

Come on Lando don't fuck it up.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

God damn that move from Antonelli was... optimistic.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 days ago

Hamilton got past just in time before the safety car
