I can’t find it now, but there was a stand up comic talking about “gay married”.
I’m paraphrasing here, but she said “why do I have to be “gay married”? Why is it not just married? When I park my car I don’t gay park my car”

I would almost always just call it married, but it makes sense for the post to say gay married, otherwise you don't really know what it's talking about. It would probably need to specify straight if the joke hinged on it being straight as well.
